We are currently accepting submissions for the June 2024 newsletter. Project funding was secured in 2023 and construction is in progress. The South Lake Business Association, in partnership with the City of Pasadena, has been a long time advocate of this project to improve lighting along South Lake Avenue and add vibrancy to this thriving area.

South Lake Avenue Rate Increase Notice
The South Lake Parking Place Commission (SLPPC) is responsible for operating, managing, and controlling the parking places within the district, which includes recommending parking rates for on-street parking meters and the City-controlled Shopper’s Lane parking lots in the South Lake Parking District. In March of 2023, the commission voted to recommend a rate increase to both the on-street parking meters and in Shopper’s Lane.
