BEYOND GRADUATION PROJECT

On January 11^th members of The CTC Academy's Beyond Graduation Project was honored to host a roundtable with Paul Aronsohn, New Jersey’s Ombudsman for Individuals with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities and their Families. Mr. Aronsohn serves as a lead advocate and ally for New Jersey residents with disabilities and their families, and he discussed the concerns, ideas and suggestions of CTC families.

Recently Miss Grace's class and CTC OT Catherine presented the M.O.V.E Expo at the Oakland campus. M.O.V.E. which stands for Movement Opportunities & Variety of Experiences, is a program facilitated by teachers, therapists, and paraprofessionals dedicated to providing meaningful movement experience to students. During the expo, students demonstrated for parents/guardians and staff members what they learned throughout their M.O.V.E experience. Some parents/guardians and siblings even got to participate!
