SPECIAL NEWS AND INFORMATION

SERMON NOTES

The story of Daniel is one of interesting actions and interesting dreams. And sometimes when we are trying to remember what this book is all about, the images of the people in the fiery furnace or the image of Daniel in the lion’s den come immediately to our mind. However, this book is much more than telling the story of fire and lions. This story seeks to share the sovereignty of God over history, empires, and kings. In chapter one, we will hear about Daniel and his friends living in a pagan land surrounded by new people and a new culture. It is in that new culture, surrounded by new people, that Daniel and his friends display what it means to follow God, even if that means that you should eat your vegetables. So join us this week as we embark on this new journey together.

May God Bless

Brandon
