Take Action THIS Weekend!

Make your voice heard TOMORROW, Saturday, April 27th at the Arizona State Capitol as we rally for our reproductive freedom. Our rights to make personal healthcare decisions are encountering unprecedented challenges in this crucial moment after the Supreme Court's decision to reinstate a near total abortion ban from 1864. Thank you to our partners on the Arizona for Abortion Access Act, Planned Parenthood AZ, for organizing this event. More details LET'S RALLY.

Updates from the Week

For insights into Wednesday's repeal vote of the 1864 ban as well as lawmakers questionable motivations and the anti-abortion strategy for the upcoming election, read: AZ House has voted to repeal the 1864 abortion ban upheld by the Supreme Court.

HHS' Secretary Becerra was in Phoenix Tuesday announcing a new rule, The Biden-Harris Administration Issues New Rule to Support Reproductive Health Care Privacy Under HIPAA. The Final Rule strengthens privacy protections for medical records and health information for people with uteruses, their family members, and doctors who are seeking, obtaining, providing, or facilitating lawful reproductive health care.

ReproductiveHealth.az.gov is live. This website is a joint effort between Governor Hobbs and Attorney General Mayes to provide Arizona women with comprehensive education on their reproductive health care options.

Last, but not least, I was interviewed on Arizona Horizon regarding the recently released Guttmacher Reproductive Health Impact Study, Has the Fall of Roe Changed Contraceptive Access. Click HERE to watch the interview (starts at 19:50).

Thank you for helping us create a future where everyone has the trust, support, and information they need to choose what's best for them.

Sincerely,

Bré Thomas
CEO

P.S.

Affirm has the knowhow and connections to work on these issues, but we cannot achieve reproductive freedoms for all without donor support. As Affirm's CEO, I have been working tirelessly with the AG and Gov Hobbs on the newly released reproductive health website and I'm working with lawmakers to repeal the ban.
