Get Rid of Your Corrosive Chemicals, Household Hazards, and Gross Goop!

Many products found in your home are considered hazardous substances. The City offers FREE collection events for you to dispose of these products safely and responsibly.

Because of their chemical makeup, certain items can poison, corrode, explode, or ignite easily if not handled properly. Because of this, they are considered to be household hazardous waste (HHW) and must be disposed of properly. It is illegal to dispose of household hazardous waste in the trash, down storm drains, or onto the ground.

Our next FREE Household Hazardous and Electronic Waste Collection Event is happening on Saturday, April 27th, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the City of Moreno Valley Corporate Yard, located at 15670 Perris Blvd, between John F. Kennedy Drive and Iris Avenue.

This event is for City of Moreno Valley and Riverside County residents only, and you may be asked to prove residency via a driver’s license or utility bill. The maximum amount is limited to 15 gallons or 125 lbs per vehicle, per trip.
