We Need You to Sign In and Stand For Life in NH

Our friends at AAPLOG, the American Association of Pro-Life OBGYNs, sent us this message this today. We think their request to contact the NH state assembly is an excellent opportunity to educate law makers who are being bombarded with arguments in opposition to an attempt to save human lives by banning late term abortion in their state. Please take a few minutes to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Here is the test from AAPLOG:

We are reaching out today to ask for your help in showing legislators that our members are unafraid to stand up and show their support in the fight for life.

The New Hampshire state assembly has proposed legislation banning late term abortions in the state - and is receiving national backlash from its opposition.

This legislation is key to protecting both unborn children and expectant mothers alike. The bill, HB-625, would establish a common sense ban on abortion after 24 weeks gestation, when babies can live outside the mother's womb. Many pro-choice physicians are showing up in opposition to this bill, with encouragement from Planned Parenthood's Call to Action.

There is an easy way you can show that you can let your opinion be heard in this case - it will only take two minutes and you can help the women and children of the state of New Hampshire, no matter where you may call home.

We encourage AAPLOG members to "sign in" during the hearing for HB 625. Members of the public can "sign in" at any time starting now—and, so long as you do not check "I wish to speak on this bill" - you will not be expected to testify at the hearing.

Dear New Hampshire Assembly,

At the Jewish Pro-Life Foundation we abide by the Jewish moral principles of lovingkindness, the sanctity of human life, and the role of Providence in each person's destiny on Earth.

We must protect the lives of gestational children because God provides for each of us, each life is sacred, and we are tasked to act with lovingkindness.

Judaism demands a high level of compassion and mercy for the vulnerable and defenseless. No other demographic is as vulnerable as the defenseless child in the womb. We show no compassion for unborn babies who are given no pain medication before being starved, poisoned, burned, dismembered, and whose skull is punctured and crushed after partial delivery or who are delivered perfect and alive for organ harvesting. As early as 10 weeks, (and certainly at 24 weeks) an unborn baby feels real physical pain during an abortion. As Jews we cannot inflict this torture on innocents.
