New Generation of Ministry Leaders

The “mission” of the Church is to glorify God by bringing people to God

And building them up in Christ.

Col. 1:24-29

Greetings Ministry Partner,

On March 9, there were 41 graduating students. We were excited and rejoiced on that day, having completed training from CCI. Many students have testified that this study has been very beneficial for them.

Most of the students have a desire and gift for ministry that God has called them to. They had initially considered studying at a traditional Bible seminary, but due to their responsibilities to work and care for their families, they found it challenging. However, upon discovering the CCI Training program and the practical knowledge it offers, they are grateful that they can apply what they have learned while balancing ministry work with their other commitments. This has boosted their confidence in serving God and ministering effectively.

Some of these graduates have been called by God to serve as missionaries in countries such as Australia, Malaysia, and Singapore, evangelizing and preaching to the Thai people, as well as establishing churches abroad. We thank God for supporting these individuals in their impactful and fruitful ministry efforts, contributing to the expansion of God's kingdom.

There was a graduation ceremony for 4 individuals from the Kachin tribe in Chiang Mai, whom God has called to lead the church. This group marks the first to receive training from CCI. The majority of the students are young individuals who are already employed and have previous experience leading the church. However, they had never received formal Bible training until now. The new generation has committed themselves to learning and training from the experienced teachers and leaders of the older generation. They are filled with joy and pride. The older leaders have congratulated the new generation for their dedication to training and preparing to take on leadership roles. The church members, including the older leaders, are delighted and optimistic about the new generation stepping up to fill the shoes of the previous generation. We are grateful for CCI's support in training these leaders to ensure the sustainability of their mission. Special thanks to Somkid, who has dedicated many years to educating and training these individuals to become efficient and capable leaders.

Before the graduation ceremony concluded, we conducted a training session on "Resolving Conflict in a Godly Way," a CCI tool developed by Dr. David Nelson to cultivate effective leaders.

The training proved to be highly beneficial for the participants. Based on the students' experiences, conflicts often go unresolved, leading to deep-seated bitterness that is challenging to heal and reconcile. As God's leaders, it is imperative that we embody a spirit of love and forgiveness, mirroring the forgiveness extended to us by God.

This training topic has garnered significant interest, prompting us to schedule additional "Thanksgiving Training" sessions for this group and potentially for multiple groups throughout the year. There has been a substantial turnout for these sessions, indicating that God is using this subject to foster significant growth and development among leaders in our nation.

"I have come to know the lessons of CCI because Pastor Prapon recommended coming to study in order to use the knowledge to develop members in the Samaan Prakhonchai Center, where I currently am an operator. The CCI lessons are very detailed and very good. They have allowed me to gain knowledge through studying and applying it by teaching, preaching, and strengthening members of the Center to grow more spiritually.
