Are you ready for the SouperBowl? That's the SouperBowl of Caring! Once again, SAKLC will be collecting funds and food (non-perishable, no glass) on February 2nd and 9th. This will be given 100% to local, national and global organizations for hunger relief. Please give generously -- together, we can Tackle Hunger!

Volunteers Needed for New Sanctuary Seating

We are so excited to have brand new seating in the sanctuary! We expect delivery sometime the week of February 24th and could use as many hands as possible to help set them up. We will know the specific day/time the Wednesday before. If you might be willing and able to help, please sign up on the sheet in the Narthex or contact Michael Bodnyk. 

Altar Flower Sign Up

We will be trying a different way to sign up to sponsor altar flowers. If you would like to sponsor altar flowers, please use the link below to sign up for your desired date. We have two vases available every weekend. Each vase costs $50. If you would like both vases, please ensure you sign up for both spots. 

The Church Office will be regularly checking the status of each weekend spot. Someone from the office will reach out to you to confirm your weekend and to ask if you'd like a dedication in the bulletin. 

Please note, due to budget constrictions, if you would like to sponsor flowers the Church Office will need to know at least 2 weeks before your desired date.

A Choral Concert Conducted by Nina Moroney

Nina Moroney, Choral Scholar and Growth and Engagement Director, is conducting a special choral concert as part of her qualification for her Master of Church Music Degree from Concordia University Wisconsin. All are welcome to attend the concert! The concert will take place at SAKLC in the Sanctuary on Sunday, February 16th at 7:00pm. Thank you for your support!

Community Service Ministry Update

The Community Service Ministry continues to prepare food for Resurrection House & the Youth Shelter. With the colder weather we cooked a hearty meal of pasta with meat sauce which was served with vegetables, bread & fruit. Although, we cannot cook at church we have found a way to honor our commitment by preparing meals at the homes of the CSM members.

Refugee Ministry Update- Donations Needed!

The church gave all the dishes and glasses that they no longer need to the Refugee Ministry. It took a team to get them all washed, sanitized and boxed for new incoming families. We are expecting seven more families in the next month and a half so we are extremely busy and still need lots of donations. Please contact Nona Arnholt if you have any questions (772-233-2945)

SAKLC Tech Training Hub

is Now Available on Our Website

The four Training to Go tutorials are available online through our new SAKLC Training Hub. In addition, a fifth tutorial, Using Zoom as a Participant, has just been added. The hub aims to provide technology training to access current SAKLC online information, worship services, meetings, and events.

Using any computer or mobile device, you can access the SAKLC Training Hub using the hub link or the SAKLC website. Using the website option, go to either Education or Resources on the main menu and select the Tech Training Hub option.

We will add other training opportunities to the hub based on newly introduced

technologies and the congregants' needs. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact Ladd Skelly at techtraining@saklc.com.
