On Saturday, May 25 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, EPL will celebrate the mid-point of the Cuyahoga Reads campaign and kick-off summer reading! Play games, get your face painted, do crafts, touch a fire truck, get free books, and get close to some of your favorite published authors.

Confirmed authors include:

Mindy McGinnis, author of acclaimed YA books such as Not a Drop to Drink, A Madness So Discreet, and The Female of the Species.

Justin A. Reynolds, author of books for all ages including the middle grade graphic novels Miles Morales: Shock Waves and Miles Morales: Stranger Tides.

Abby Collette, author of the cozy mystery series A Deadly Inside Scoop.

Don't Forget to Log Your Reading for Cuyahoga Reads!

EPL has the second-highest number of participants in the county for the Cuyahoga Reads Challenge! This is amazing! However, we are in the bottom middle of the pack of 9 libraries in terms of days logged. Don't forget to log every day you read. Did you forget to log? You can backdate your logging for days that have passed.

Every 20 days a child or teen logs, earns a prize. When you earn a prize, stop the children's desk to claim it!

Join the Cuyahoga Reads Challenge with your Students!

Register your class for the Cuyahoga Reads: Euclid Reads reading challenge, going on now through December 31, 2024. The goal is to read every day - it doesn't matter if students read for 10 minutes or for 4 hours - we aim to encourage students to develop positive reading habits.

Visit our Beanstack page here, scroll down to the middle and click on Register Class or Group. You can log each day your students read in class with just a few clicks. EPL can provide milestone prizes for every 20 days yours students have read. Contact Christine Pyles at christine.pyles@euclidlibrary.org to discuss how the library can provide incentives for your student
