A longstanding Dupont Circle tradition, First Friday Dupont offers the ability to connect with modern and contemporary art by national and international artists with a special emphasis on local and up and coming artists. Enter the heart of DC’s art scene the first Friday of every month from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

National League of American Pen Women Meeting Headquarters

The Washington DC Branch of the National League of American

Pen Women invites neighbors to a free talk by author Joseph Dalton about his new book "Washington's Golden Age: Hope Ridings Miller, the Society Beat, and the Rise of Women Journalists." The book chronicles the life of a pioneering woman journalist who covered the powerful vortex of politics, diplomacy, and society during a career that stretched from FDR to LBJ.

Smith Center for Healing and the Arts offers programs that are tailored to the needs of people affected by cancer. However, many of the classes they offer are also useful to a broader audience interested in wellness and integrative health and are therefore open to the whole community.

The Perry Belmont House March Concert Event

The Perry Belmont House, host of the Dupont Circle Citizens Association's 2018 House Tour Tea, has announced a spring afternoon concert that will feature world-renowned tenor Anthony Kearns of The Irish Tenors as headliner and The Embassy of Ireland will also have a presence on the program. This high-profile afternoon of song and inspiration will include a performance by Mr. Kearns, followed by a champagne toast and meet-and-greet opportunity with self-guided tours of the Belmont Perry House.

Doors open at 3:30 p.m. and the ticket price is $100 and can be purchased here.

Historic Dupont Circle Main Streets is organizing its 10th annual Spring Fling and Silent Auction at the Washington Hilton hotel. The event includes a full dinner, silent auction, and cool jazz all night long. Enjoy the sounds of the Herb Scott Trio, while dining and supporting Dupont Circle. Tickets are $20 in advance; $30 at the door.

DOEE Budget Briefing

Mayor Bowser is currently talking to District residents about what they want the proposed Fiscal Year 2020 budget to look like when it's released on March 20th. In preparation, the DC Environmental Network, DC Fiscal Policy Institute, and District Department of Energy & Environment, are partnering to hold a budget briefing. Attendees will have an opportunity to listen to DOEE Director Tommy Wells and ask questions about their favorite environmental programs. More information here .
