IPM Partners with Child Focus
For Family Fun Day Festivities
|
|
IPM Food Pantry's mission to Expand, Mobilize and Equip was visibly in action at the recent Family Fun Day celebrated at our neighboring organization, Child Focus.
IPM partnered with Child Focus and HealthSource, another IPM neighbor, to present the free event that featured food, inflatables, games, face painting, giveaways and other entertainment. In all, 22 community partners provided information for families in need in our community, including nearly 500 children.
IPM staff and volunteers handed out over 400 Snack Packs to the children who attended and helped run festival games for them.
We are so grateful to be a part of this nurturing neighborhood!

“We had a great time at your event! You guys did a wonderful job and the kids loved it. Keep up the good work, you are definitely appreciated by the community!" — Family Fun Day participant

"What a great day for over 900 people to come together and celebrate at our Family Fun Event, learning information about services our agency and our community partners provide to children and families." — Katie Peters, Child Focus Assistant Director, Family Engagement

IPM Impact: Volunteers Create Mother's Day
Care Packages to Honor Neighbors
|
|
A team of IPM's dedicated volunteers created 250 Mother's Day personal care packages for our neighbors, which were handed out last week in our Drive-Through and Choice pantries.
Each package included the message, "To the world you are a mother, but to your family, you are the world! Happy Mother's Day from all of us at IPM."
We'll let the recipients tell you the rest of the story:
As one mom said, through tears: “You can’t believe how much this means to me. No one has ever given me anything like this.”
Another neighbor told us, “I can’t thank you enough for thinking of me. What a wonderful gift for Mother's Day.”
Another neighbor called to say, “I received a Mother’s Day bag from you (IPM) today and it brought me so much joy. The jewelry that was in there is so beautiful and I can’t wait to wear it to church. Thank you!”
Finally, another mom told us, "IPM is always so generous with food and now this gift. Thank you so much!"
Thank you to all of our volunteers who brighten the IPM experience for our neighbors through each encouraging, heartfelt interaction!
