Dear SMA Community,
Queens of the Prom! Gen Suzuki, Amy Reh, and Teresa Propper were extraordinary in organizing our annual gala. A huge thank you to all volunteers for sharing their time, expertise, and love for our school. The hall never looked so beautiful. Thank you again for our very generous Gala sponsors.
It's not too late to get your prom pictures or pull a bottle of wine! All wine proceeds and half of the picture proceeds go directly to SMA. We hope to have fundraising totals to share with you all soon!
One of my all-time favorite days is coming - Grandparents' Day! We are very excited to welcome your child's grandparents to SMA next Friday. For those in need of assistance, a courtesy car will be available to and from the academy and parish hall. See below for details.
Many of our 2nd graders will be receiving First Communion this weekend. Please include them in your prayers. You are invited to attend either Mass if you would like to celebrate with them on Saturday at 5 pm or Sunday at 9 am. The final Star Testing begins on April 28th and will go through May 17th. These reports will go home with report cards on June 7th.
With Gratitude,
Jennifer Miller, Principal

Grandparents' Day - May 3rd
"Cruise Around the World"
|
|
Next Friday is our 31st annual day of welcoming grandparents and great-grandparents to our school. This is a BIG day at SMA! Thank you in advance to Sally O'Brien, head room parent, and all the parent volunteers who are helping with this event.
Although parents are invited to the Mass we ask that ONLY grandparents come to the classrooms and the entertainment in the hall. The day is specifically for them. FYI: volunteers will be helping with the coffee & refreshments.

At the end of each year, we publish a yearbook with pictures of students, staff, classes, and major school events of the year. It is a great keepsake and record of each of your child's school years. The book includes preschool and all grades K-8 with a special emphasis on the graduating class. Yearbooks are hardback and are $32.00. A limited number of books have been ordered.
