NEW CLASSES FOR APRIL FLOWERS!

With many transitions, difficulties arise creating the friction change can so readily deliver. A beautiful reminder of practice is that it's the whole hearted participation with reality. Our tendency to distract, lean into pleasure and avoid difficulty can be a road block to greater understanding. Practice is a way to build the focus and tenderness needed to move in and through the tricky, confusing, painful, uncomfortable feelings we all experience from time to time. Learning to deactivate reactionary bypassing can help us bring a richness, vulnerabilty and greater sense of humanity to our hearts/minds.

Yoga gifts us training to learn to be with, vs be against.

Yoga Deep Dive

Mondays with Steph D'Aniello

7-8:20pm

series begins this Monday 4/8

There are many reasons why we find our way to a yoga practice. In the yoga tradition, the term “Svadhyaya” means self-study. Through Svadhyaya we can engage in self-reflection and examination to develop a clearer understanding of ourselves and our place in the world.

In this series, we’ll dive a little deeper – through dialogue and a mindful posture practice – to discern what brings us time and again, to our mats.

Inversions & Meditation

Workshop with Sally

April 28, 2-4pm

Yoga can be explained as a practice that helps to broaden our perspective. Learning to safely practice postures that turn us upside down can have profound effects within the moment. We'll explore a practice that prepares and engages inversions and their many variations that make this practice accessible to many - and helps shakes things up in a good way.

Meditation will be a landing point to help integrate our experience and welcome insight. Questions? Reach out: sally@ravenswingyoga.com.
