GOOD NEWS BEARS

Week of April 22, Vol 1, Issue 34

Dear St. David Families,

The themes of renewal, hope, and community continue to be present in the fourth week of Easter. Just as the blossoming flowers and lenghtening days remind us of the promise of new beginnings, so too do the bonds of fellowship and support within our school community continue to flourish and grow.

We had the pleasure of witnessing these bonds in action at our Silent Auction event. It was truly heartwarming to see our community come together with such enthusiasm and generosity to support our school. The success of the auction is a testament to the incredible spirit of unity and collaboration that defines us, and I am immensely grateful to each and every one of you for your contributions, whether through donations, participation, or simply spreading the word.

As we move forward, let us continue to cherish and nurture the sense of community that makes our school truly special. Together, there is no limit to what we can achieve.

Yours in faith,

Ms. Medrano

💎 SILENT AUCTION - 60th CELEBRATION

The Silent Auction, held on April 20th, was a resounding triumph, setting a standard for community engagement and support. Through the collective generosity of our school community, we were able to raise about $30,000 in funds, which will directly benefit our school's general budget.

We are also immensely grateful to the individuals and businesses who generously donated items for the auction. Your contributions not only added value to the event but also demonstrated the incredible spirit of generosity that defines the St. David School community.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the enthusiastic participation of our bidders. Your eagerness to support our school and engage in friendly competition made the Silent Auction a memorable experience for everyone involved.

I am so honored to have been a part of this beautiful celebration of the St. David community. Thank you to everyone who played a part in making the Silent Auction a resounding success. Rose Mello Hall looked incredible and so magical. The bar curated a wonderful cocktail menu for our guests. The setup and cleanup crew, your work is truly amazing and appreciated. Your dedication, generosity, and commitment to our school are truly commendable, and we look forward to building on this momentum as we continue to work together to achieve great things!

Leslie specializes in empowering voices to be courageous especially in participating in courageous conversations. We are so excited to have her part of our St. David Community!

Hello, St. David's community! I am thrilled to join you as the newly appointed Social-Emotional Learning Coach. My name is Leslie Lew. My passion lies in fostering holistic growth, supporting students in navigating their emotions, relationships, and overall well-being.
