Lower Russian River Governance Solutions Updates

The final draft of the Lower Russian River Governance Solutions Report has been published and can be found here.

In February, the River MAC formed an ad hoc committee to develop recommendations for how the MAC can best provide community education, gather feedback, and encourage broad engagement in ongoing discussions about the various options presented in the Blue Sky report. These recommendations will be presented at the April 11 River MAC meeting. The public is encouraged to participate during this hybrid meeting. Your feedback is important. How would you like to engage? What tools or resources do you need?

The April 11 River MAC meeting will also include a presentation from Sonoma County Health Services on CARE Court and an update from the Sonoma County Community Development Commission (CDC), West County Community Services, and Praxis Architects, on the permanent supportive housing and navigation center at George’s Hideaway in Guerneville.
