Angela Wright and Family

"My name is Angela Wright and I am a cancer survivor of Mobile, Alabama. On August of 2023, I was told that my cancer (leukemia) came back once again. I then came up with a plan to go to MD Anderson. I talked to my social worker and she made some calls to The Ballard House and The Ballard House accepted me with open arms. They have been such a blessing to me and my family. I love The Ballard House, everyone there is like family and always willing to help, with open arms and all smiles. The Ballard House has made my visit to Houston very welcoming and homey. I really appreciate everyone. May God continue to bless you all to help others.

"A little over two years ago, a dear friend told me about The Ballard House. A week later I was blessed to begin my journey as a volunteer at the Disney World of hospitality.

The blessings greet me at every turn: a nurturing staff, servant hearted volunteers, appreciative guests, and selfless caregivers.

My favorite activity is preparing and serving dinner, with a group of friends to all The Ballard House guests. The joy comes from observing the fellowship that takes place in the dining room as guests and servers share laughter, tears and testimonies to God.

I invite you to stop by for a tour, but let me warn you...You will catch The Ballard House fever!"

$23 for 23

2023 marks the 10th anniversary of The Ballard House in Katy, Texas.

We are incredibly proud to have provided over 80,000 nights of no-cost temporary housing for patients and their families during treatment of a serious medical condition.

We need your help to continue our mission. Join us by making a $23 donation each month in 2023 to The Ballard House. We are calling it $23 for 23.

Our goal is to have 500 participants for this campaign. Please spread the word among your network and circle of influence. We so appreciate your consideration!
