Hello First Branch!

Hello First Branch,

We are wishing everyone a restful break in the week ahead!

As a district, we want to thank all the parents/guardians, parent/staff members, and community members who attended Monday's First Branch Unified District Annual Budget meeting and voted. We are very grateful our budget has passed. We also noted concerns shared for conversations in the days ahead. A big thank you goes out to our One Planet team members, kitchen staff, and middle school babysitters. We know a school night is tough, and all these supports allowed families more access to join in the community conversation with support from after school programs, dinner, and babysitting.

After break, we have some exciting events ahead after the break! The first one is a STEM Festival on April 30th at CPS. This is made possible by the partnership between our preschool and Echo Leahy! Prek was able to open this part of the grant to all First Branch families. All One Planet students will attend automatically that day. Please get in touch with your site director with questions.

We are also really excited and proud to share there will be a First Branch Spring Concert Prek-8th grade! Please see the flyer for more details.

Finally, TCS, Please check the lost and found pictures on Facebook for any items that might belong to your student. Please contact the main office or respond to the post on facebook so we know to hold an item. The items will be donated April 30th.

Be Well,

Janet Cash

Chelsea Public School Drinking Water Results

After reading "The Wild Robot" during literacy, fourth graders eagerly embarked on a hands-on project, constructing intricate dioramas depicting scenes from the book. With glue sticks and colored paper in hand, they brought to life the lush wilderness where Roz navigated her adventures.

How long have you worked at TCS?

I have worked at TCS for two years.

What is your favorite thing about working at TCS?

There are so many things that I LOVE about TCS, but my favorite is seeing kids smile and achieve difficult things.

What do you want people to know about your job? My job has many moving pieces which keeps me in motion all day. However, it is the most rewarding job I could have ever dreamed of.

What is one fun fact about you?

One fun fact, well two, is that I love to build Legos and recently completed the LegoLand Trifecta with my grandson.
