Family Promise Thank You

Thank you to everyone who took part in Family Promise this week! Our three guest families enjoyed good dinners, welcoming conversations, and a safe place to stay for the week. Thank you for being part of this ministry!

Easter Baskets of Blessings

Thank You to everyone who provided an Easter Basket of Blessing for our elderly neighbors! You have brightened their Easter!

Sanctuary Cleanup Thank You!

Thank you to everyone who took part in cleaning the Sanctuary in preparation for Holy Week! The space is beautiful and ready for our many services!

Easter Egg Hunt

We had so much fun at our annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday! We say a special thanks to several people: Elsa Edwards, for organizing; Sabrina Blanks, for heading up our craft and supplying home-grown flowers; the Youth for doing prep and hiding eggs; and the Youth & Family Committee for their support!

Our 150 Envelope Fundraiser for the 2024 ELCA Youth Gathering was a huge success!

119 envelopes have been returned!

We raised $6,257 from these envelopes!

That brings the total to $10,357 raised!

Save the date: Grace Variety Show and Raffle

April 21, 5:00pm

We'll be hosting a Variety Show & Raffle to benefit the Gathering!

(A variety show is like a talent show, but talent is not required)

It's dinner and a show, and you won't want to miss it!

Everyone is invite to participate, so consider if you have an act, talent, hobby, or skill you'd like to share!

We'll be sharing Raffle items and more information in the coming weeks. If you'd like to donate an item or experience for the Raffle, please contact Pr. Rachel.

The Gathering: 8 youth and 4 adults from Grace will be headed to New Orleans in July, along with other ELCA youth from across the USA, to learn how we are Created To Be God's people!

We are updating our congregational directory.

On Easter Sunday, we will have 2 copies of the directory in the Fellowship Hall. Please confirm that your contact information is accurate, or correct it in one of those copies!

During Lent we enjoyed soup suppers with some wonderful and different soups brought by members of Grace.

Hilary Mullins is collecting these recipes to share! If you are willing to share the recipes for these soups, please send them to her here. She is planning to collate them and create a Grace Souper Supper cookbook. Thanks for participating!

Opportunity to assist a student residing at Life House Women's Shelter

Kristy Austin has a unique volunteer opportunity available! She has a student who has moved from the York area into the Life House Women’s Shelter. This student is involved in the GED Preparation program, but now has a full-time job, limiting her ability to get to in-person classes. She is in need of a tutor who could provide guidance and answer questions a few evenings a week.

baked goods, diapers (3,4,5,6) and wipes
