CSUSIF is hosting a one-day conference to teach 20 minute workshops on topics/professions that are stigmatized for women such as technology, finance, and automobiles.
They hope to bring in local professionals like Conrad's, AutoZone, Girls who code, Huntington Bank, and CSU blackboard services. Workshops would consist of learning basics of each topics. They will o serve lunch, have music, games, and raffles with pre owned prizes.
This event is open to the public for girls/femmes of all ages around Cleveland to learn and build community

The City is Our Campus is giving away free tickets to the Guardians vs Yankees game on Friday, April 12th at 7:10pm at Progressive Field. There are a total of 96 tickets available, and it is first come, first serve! Once you reserve a ticket, your ticket will be sent to the email on your CSU Rec account the week before the event. To reserve your ticket, follow the steps below:
1. Download the CSU Rec Member Connect app.
2. Log in with your username and password.
3. Select “Programs”.
4. Click on “Select a Category” and then select “The City Is Our Campus”.
5. Select “Show Programs”.
6. Click on “Guardians vs Yankees”, and then click “Register”, and then “Confirm”.

CSU's Tutoring and Academic Success Center is now hiring for English 101 SLA leaders for Fall 24!
Qualifications:
- Current GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Received an A in ENG 101 & ENG 102
- 8-10 hours of weekly availability
- You do not have to be an English or Education major
What do SLA Leaders do?:
- Attend ENG 101 lecture
- Plan and facilitate weekly sessions that are built into class
- Plan fun and interactive sessions that relate to what students are doing in class
- Start at $12.50/hr

First Year Experience
Hiring Peer Mentors for Fall 2024
First Year Experience is currently hiring peer mentors for the Fall 2024 semester! The Peer Mentor works closely with the instructor in planning and preparation for the course, attends each class, assists students in transitioning to Cleveland State University, as well as coordinates multiple out-of-class activities. This is a paid position for up to 10 hours a week at $12/hr.

Disability and Ableism Workshop from The Diversity Institute

The Diversity Institute is thrilled to continue to offer trainings at no cost for students, staff, and faculty at CSU. This semester, they are including a training on Disability and Ableism. This is a 2-part workshop, and part 1 is required before taking part 2. Part 1 will take place Wednesday May 8th from 1-4pm, and part 2 will take place Thursday May 9th from 1-4pm.
