As we enter the week that culminates with the Gala and the Spring Raffle, there will be a lot of activity to make sure all goes smoothly.  There has been amazing support from the Curley Family, including the current parents who have been so supportive with contributing auction items and promoting the raffle.  Throughout this week parent and student volunteers, along with faculty/staff, alumni and alumni parent volunteers, will bring all the pieces together for a successful March 23rd event.  The effort is certainly worth it, as the proceeds of these events go into the operating budget of the school, and thus make a difference for every student and his family.  Thank you to everyone who has contributed, or will contribute this week, toward the success of Gala XXIX!

Next week marks the end of the third quarter of the academic year. Please continue encouraging your son to meet with his teachers should he need assistance. 

Next week is also very busy with the final preparations for Curley Gala XXIX. Thanks go to Caroline Palmisano for all of her hard work coordinating this very special event. Thank you to the many volunteers, gift donors, and sponsors who are making this day possible. Many parents, students, faculty, and staff contribute to the success of the Gala. We are very grateful to all for that commitment.

As a reminder, Friday, March 22nd is an early dismissal day. Classes will end at 12:30.

This is Gala week! I extend my most sincere gratitude to the community and all of our families for their support of this year's Gala event. The turnout for gift donations to the auction was tremendous. As of the end of our gift collection, about 55% of the gifts on the auction are from the donations from our current families. So thank you for the part that you played in the success of our silent auction. Here are the final class standings...

Class of 2027-- 66%

Class of 2026 -- 54%

Class of 2025 -- 65%

Class of 2024 -- 55%

We congratulate the Class of 2027 as the winners of the class registry competition, though it was very close! The freshman class will receive a pizza lunch and dress down day to be announced at a later date. We will notify the lucky parents of one freshman student who will also be attending the Gala next week. 

We are still looking for parent volunteers for Friday, March 22, to pack up and set up for the Gala. Volunteers are needed from 730 am-10:00 am at Curley, and then from 10:30 am-3:30 pm at Boumi Temple. Please email Caroline Palmisano at cpalmisano@archbishopcurley.org to sign up, if you have not already. We thank you in advance for this most important role you will play in the event. 

The third quarter ends on Friday, March 22nd.  If you were unable to attend the virtual parent conference night this week, please reach out to your son’s teacher(s) in order to address any concerns you may have. Please remind your son(s) to check Plus Portals on a regular basis and to see their teacher(s) if they have questions. I also encourage them to see their teachers for extra support and help if they are struggling in any of their courses. My door is always open if they ever need anything. Monday, March 25th is the beginning of the fourth quarter and the home stretch for summer.
