Danielle Watler
Owner, Out of the Blu Marketing
Danielle Watler, also known as Danielle Alexis, has a multifaceted background and a deep connection to the Cayman Islands. Originally hailing from the Blue Mountains in Jamaica, Danielle found her home in the Cayman Islands after meeting her husband, John Watler, affectionately known as Deejay Selecta Renegade, with whom she shares two daughters. Her professional journey took a significant turn when she made the bold decision to establish her own company, "Out of the Blu," in 2016, named after her firstborn. Through this venture, she has taken on the roles of marketing manager, public relations expert, and event coordinator for a diverse range of local and international businesses. Notable among her portfolio is the "Out of this World Concert," which boasted performances by renowned artists such as Busta Rhymes and Sean Paul. Beyond her entrepreneurial endeavors, Danielle is recognized for her versatility and talent in various fields. She is a motivational speaker, writer, host, actress, and the owner and local designer of the Cayman Carnival Band, Renegade Mas. Her creative designs, inspired by the beauty of the Cayman Islands, have garnered attention both locally and internationally, with features in prominent media outlets such as Yahoo News, Enews, and Insider. Among her proudest moments is the recognition she received alongside her family on the cover of the 2020 "Cayman Parent" Magazine. This acknowledgment reflects her commitment to balancing her professional pursuits with her role as a dedicated parent. Danielle's journey is driven by a constant quest for inspiration and personal growth, which she seeks to fulfill emotionally, professionally, and spiritually. Her resilience, creativity, and passion have not only placed her at the forefront of Cayman Islands' cultural and entrepreneurial landscape but also serve as a source of motivation for others within and beyond her community.
