The Varsity Girls Soccer Team is competing in the CSAA state soccer tournament. On Thursday, our girls defeated Jackson Day 2-0 to advance to the Championship game. The championship will be played at Veritas on Tuesday at 5:00. Please come out to support our girls!
The Middle School Team finished up their season with a 2-0 win over the Trailblazers. The Warriors finished the season with a record of 13-0. A big thank you to head coach Melody Overholser, as well as Angela Connor and Betsy Merrell, for all their work with the team this year.
The Veritas Golf Team had a busy week. The Varsity Team lost a head to head match against to Carolina Day by 8 strokes. Emma Stover led the way for Veritas, shooting a 35 in the 9 hole match. The Warriors bounced back to win a 4 team tournament later in the week. Emma Stover, again, led the way for Veritas with a 45. The Middle School Team won their lone match of the week. The Warriors defeated Reynolds Mtn. Christian by 10 strokes. Ben Baltrusaitis led the way for Veritas, shooting a 39 on the Par 27 course.
Our Middle School Baseball Team lost a tough game to Rabun Gap 2-1. Our boys are scheduled to have two more games this week.
