OUR MISSION:

To Seek & Save the Lost

May 3, 2024

Inspiration

All these promises, all these assurances in the garden of God's word, are to us an expression of the love of God to man, and we should not regard them with carelessness or indifference, but as we would examine the precious flowers in our brother's garden and inhale their fragrance, delighting our senses with their loveliness and fragrance, just so we should take the promises of God, one by one, and examine them closely on every side—take in their richness and be soothed, comforted, encouraged, and strengthened by them. God has provided for all the comforts the soul needs. They are suited to the friendless, the poverty stricken, the wealthy, the sick, the bereaved—all may have their appropriate help if they will see and take hold upon these by faith. God scatters blessings all along our path to brighten the rugged way of life, and we want to be receiving all the comfort and tokens of God's love with grateful hearts. Women's Locker to be created for our ladies in need, both in the community and in the church. The Locker is open for donations of gently-used modest clothing, brand new top and bottom undergarments (sized

S-XXL) and female essentials. Please see any member of the women's ministry team for more information and to donate. The Locker will be open to the public June 1st.

Your local Women's Ministry Team apologizes to the ladies for the confusion about the list of prayer partners that was announced on April 13th. It was said that the list was posted at the ERC window that Sabbath, when, in fact, it had not been. However, the list has been there for the past two Sabbaths. Ladies, please take a moment to view the list and learn who your prayer partner is for the next five months. Watch God work mightily as we pray with and for our sisters in Christ!

The Stone Tower Music Dept. presents its first Tone Chime Ensemble! We were blessed to hear the tone chimes for the first time at our Resurrection Day service. By popular demand, the chimes will ring on for the foreseeable future! The ensemble is currently open for up to five new chimers. That said, if you are interested in learning to play the chimes and can be available for regular rehearsals, please contact Jeanine Goodwin.

SAVE THE DATE -- May 25, 2:30 pm at Stone Tower, Health & Temperance presentation: Simple Herbs & Remedies for Serious Ailments.

SAVE THE DATE -- May 29, 7:00-8:30 pm at Stone Tower: NW Veg is hosting a presentation by Dr. Michael Greger. He is a physician, author and leader in the field of public health. He is an advocate of whole-food plant-based diet, and his presentation will be on this topic. His website, NutritionFacts.org, contains a number of videos and articles on health and nutrition topics. His personal website is drgreger.org.

SAVE THE DATE -- Sunday, June 23, 2024, when our Music Department will present the first of three presentations in a series entitled Sacred Music Study. June's presentation will focus on important definitions as well as the original purpose of music. This event is open to all Stone Tower church members and guests, as well as to our sister churches. More information to come!
