Second Collection: Parishes in Collaboration (May 4th-5th)

This weekend, May 4th-5th, all people of the Diocese of Orange will have the opportunity to donate to the Parishes in Collaboration Collection. This collection is for the purpose of assisting parishes in the Diocese of Orange that exhibit ongoing needs that cannot be paid by their ordinary income and have urgent needs (such as repairs and maintenance).

All money donated to this collection is put into a restricted fund that is administered by a group consisting of laity and clergy of the Diocese. Parishes with needs may apply for grants from this fund to be used for their specific needs.

By participating in the Parishes in Collaboration Collection, all people of the Diocese of Orange are helping one another support the works of our parishes that struggle financially. Thank you for your generosity!

Pray For Our Confirmands!

We will have 24-hour adoration in the Upper Room starting Thursday, May 16th at 9 am until Pentecost Sunday, May 19th at 5 pm. We encourage you to sign up for a Holy Hour to pray for all of the youth and adults who will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation at the 5 pm Mass on Pentecost Sunday. Sign up for a Holy Hour here.

Los esperemos ha este gran evento para celebrar a las mamas y a nuestra Madre Santisima. Mayo 12 (2 pm a 4pm) a la Iglesia St. Timothy. Tendremos un taquero (incluyendo: carne asada, pollo, al pastor, y chorizo con condimentos), aqua frescas, y nos acompañará el Mariachi "Nuevo Capistrano”. ¡Los boletos se pueden comprar después de todas las Misas este fin de semana, del 13 al 14 de Abril!

The Spanish Speaking Ministry at St. Timothy invites you to celebrate all of the mothers in your life and our Blessed Mother! May 12 (2 pm - 4 pm) at St. Timothy Church. Remember Mom in Our Mother's Day Novena!

You can remember your mom, both living or deceased, in our Mother’s Day Novena. Complete the outer envelope indicating the names of those to be remembered and return it to the Parish Front Office by Wednesday, May 8th. Our Mother’s Day Novena begins Sunday, May 12th, and ends on Monday, May 20th.

Become a Eucharistic Minister!

Eucharistic Ministers for sick & homebound members of our parish are needed. If your heart leads you to share your love of God by bringing the Holy Eucharist to those in need, please contact Mark Dubeau at mfdubeau@gmail.com.

Catholic Pilgrimage with Fr. Patrick and Matt Zemanek!

Join us for a deeply spiritual pilgrimage to some of the most splendid sites beloved by the Roman Catholic Church (Rome, Pietrelcina, San Giovanni Rotondo, Monte Sant’Angelo, Lanciano, Loreto, Assisi & Siena). With our group leaders, Father Patrick Moses & Matt Zemanek, we will make our way to wondrous locations, learn more about our Catholic faith and have firsthand spiritual experiences at these holy sites.

Cost: $4985 per person (flight not included, group round trip air is available for an additional $1360 per person)

KofC Recycle, Food, and E-Waste Drives

The next KofC Recycle, Food, and E-Waste Drive is on Saturday, May 11 from 8 am - 12 pm in the St. Timothy upper parking lot. There will be free pancake breakfast provided for all donors!

RECYCLE DRIVE

Bring your glass (wine bottles OK), plastic or aluminum bottles and cans to the St. Timothy Upper Parking lot. Recyclables must have the CA CRV logo.

FOOD DRIVE

Food or cash donations are happily accepted to assist the St. Timothy Food Pantry. Donations needed:

• Cereal & oatmeal
• Mac & cheese
• Pasta sauce & noodles
• Canned foods
• Peanut butter & jelly

E-WASTE DRIVE

In addition to their usual Recycle and Food Pantry drives, the St. Timothy Knights of Columbus will be accepting electronics for recycling. Please save your discarded electronics from the Holidays and let the Knights convert them into resources for those in need!

Calling all High School Seniors and Families

The Laguna Niguel Interfaith Council invites all High School Seniors and their families to their Baccalaureate Prayer Service on Wednesday, May 15th at 7 pm. Refreshments will be served. Participating faith communities:

• The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
