Join us for Tukwila’s FREE Residential Recycling Collection Event at the Tukwila Community Center from 9am to 3pm on May 18, 2024. Mayor McLeod delivers his 2024 State of the City address

At the April 15th City Council meeting, Mayor McLeod delivered his 2024 State of the City address. The speech highlighted some of his priorities in his administration which include creating an organization culture of customer service and accountability; a focus on public safety and emergency management; economic development and housing; and getting ready to welcome the world to Seattle and Tukwila for the 2026 World Cup. Update to in-person hours at City Hall

Starting April 15, the front counters in City Hall and the 6300 building will now be open to the public Monday through Thursday from 8:30am to 4:00pm. Phone, email, and virtual appointment assistance hours are still Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm.

Join Puget Sound Fire for their annual Teddy Bear Clinic on May 18, 2024

Join Puget Sound Fire for their annual 𝗧𝗲𝗱𝗱𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰! This fun-filled, free family event will be 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟴 from 10am-1pm at Station 74 in Kent. Bring your favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal for a checkup. Their Firefighter/EMTs will provide free checkups for teddy bears and kids in a relaxing environment designed to help ease children’s fears of medical exams.


  • First 400 children receive a FREE teddy bear courtesy of Warm 106.9
  • Tour a fire engine and aid car
  • Spray water through a fire hose
  • Participate in fun activities at the training center
