The Glades Initiative's Food Pantry is available to anyone in need. Residents may come in once per week at any time during the hours listed below. In a “Pantry of Choice”, you choose the foods that you want and need (within guidelines).

• ONE time per week

United Way of Palm Beach County has partnered with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to provide free, confidential, and secure preparation and e-filing of tax returns to qualified taxpayers. To qualify, taxpayer’s household income must have been $75,000 or less in 2023. You may be eligible for up to $7,430 in Earned Income Tax Credits (EITC).


The Taxes Filed Free Campaign gives you two options to choose from to e-file your tax return. All options are supported by IRS-Certified Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) volunteers.

This online tool was created to connect individuals seeking food resources to sites near them. Information is English, Spanish, and Creole. United Way updates the information listed on this map weekly. However, locations and hours of distribution may change. PBC Hosts Workshops to Share Findings from Initial Climate Risk Assessment and Gather Input


Palm Beach County has reached a significant milestone in the Countywide Climate Risk

Assessment with the completion of the initial risk assessment. The comprehensive evaluation examines potential threats due to climate change, such as extreme heat, agricultural impacts, wildfires and extreme flooding events.
