Sousa's March Mania

In the month of March, FCA students in grades 2 through 4 participated during music class in "Sousa's March Mania", hosted by The U.S. Marine Band "The President's Own" (along with students of over 2,000 music educators nationwide). 32 marches were set up in an elimination bracket, with one or two contests each day in which students voted on which of those two marches they liked the best. This year's winner was announced on Friday, March 29th in this livestream on the Marine Band's website. Congratulations to "Cyrus the Great", composed by Karl King, the winner of the eleventh annual Sousa's March Mania.

Sick Policy

In an effort to clear up the germs and viruses, we are asking that if your child experiences any of the following symptoms to please keep them home for the day. Symptoms include a Runny nose with yellow/green discharge, nausea/vomiting, sore throat, chills or fever, diarrhea, or any other conditions that might be contagious. A student should be fever-free for 24 hours (without medication) before returning to school.
