Jerseys:

  • Reversible jerseys distributed 30-45 minutes before your first game. Please arrive early!
  • Colors this season are: royal blue, lime green, and white.
  • Home team wears lighter color; visiting team wears darker color.

League Rules:

  • Read HERE or find on the Season Information page. Below are some clarifications:
  • Every player must play half the game (20 minutes). If a player shows up late to the game, their time will be prorated, and the 20-minute playing time rule will not apply. And every player must sit out at least 5 minutes unless a team only has 5 players.
  • 3rd /4th grade must play man to man defense during the first 30 minutes. (We do allow switching on screens; just no double teaming unless in the free throw lane area as described below). The easiest way to describe this rule is that players cannot press full court and can only pick up their player at half court during the first 30 minutes (all players within an arm length of who they are guarding). In the half court, a defender can only switch players and help defend when the offensive player drives into the free throw lane area.
  • Technical fouls - If any player, coach, or parent receives 2 in the same game, they will have to serve a one game suspension and not be able to participate in the following game. If any player, parent, or coach receives 3 in a season, they will be removed from the league without any refund.

Event Code of Conduct:

  • Read HERE or find on the Season Information page.
  • This is a reminder for everyone - coaches, players, parents, fans - since in the spirit of competition sometimes we forget how to treat others with dignity, grace, and respect at all times.

Score Table:

  • Home team provides the clock operator, and visiting team provides the scorebook.
  • We MUST HAVE VOLUNTEERS to help with this and ready prior to game time. The supervisor will help parent volunteers.

Stats:

  • We will be keeping track and posting scoring stats in the app.
  • The scorekeeper (book) volunteer needs to keep total score and individual points so we can post accurate information.
  • NOTE: as soon as a scoring stat error is found, please see information on the website.

Start Time of Games: We will start on-time or can start up to 5 minutes early. We cannot wait past game time for players to arrive and will start games with 4 players if needed to avoid forfeits. We appreciate your understanding!

Refs: Show respect to the refs, who are state-certified professionals and also ref high school games. You will not get every call, I promise. Please model the behavior you would want someone to have if your spouse, son, daughter, friend was officiating.

Facilities: Please maintain cleanliness at Creekside Park Junior High and other facilities.

On-Site Issues:

  • Resolve with on-site Alodia supervisors promptly.
  • Follow up via email if not resolved.

Concessions: Electronic payment only (NEW) - are available for convenience. Alodia has moved to cashless effective 2024.

Awards:

  • Alodia gives awards in each age division (3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th) to the top scorer (based on stats) and Alodia Awards based on who gets the most from their talent on the court (recognizing individuals who demonstrate positive attitudes, discipline, teamwork, and more).
  • Please click HERE for an overview of the awards.

All-Star Game Details:

  • All-Star Games for 3/4th, 5/6th, and 7/8th divisions will be played on Saturday, May 18 after the championship game of their division.
  • Alodia will notify you by 10 pm Monday, May 6 if your child made the team. Note: an invite is an email from Alodia not a verbal communication from your coach that you were nominated.
