AI enabled SaaS can be implemented in different ways but there are three important approaches. Depending on whether the type of AI enabled SaaS you have or are considering is Off the Shelf, Application Unique or Customer Unique you will have different requirements and costs to support your customers. Openview Partners has written a recent article which continues the conversation on data centric AI and the need for MLOps to support that effort. Focusing on data and the cleanliness of that data results in AI solutions that require a smaller quantity of data to develop. As venture capitalists, Openview Partners, believe there are many opportunities for products and startup companies to provide tools for cleaning and managing data for AI solutions.

My observation is that Data Centric AI provides many more opportunities to SaaS companies to provide Application Unique and Customer Unique AI enabled SaaS products and applications since a smaller amount of data is required.
