"Making All Things New" - Giving Tuesday

Thank you so much for all of your generosity for Giving Tuesday. A special email will be coming out tomorrow with more detailed information.

On Saturday, December 14th, join Pr. Ken Blyth at Temple Beth Sholom (1050 S. Tuttle Avenue), as he speaks during their Sabbath service. Then on Sunday the 15th, Rabbi Stuart Altschuler will speak during the services at SAKLC, and folks from TBS will join us in worship. What a wonderful way to embody both the hope of Advent and interfaith respect and love.

Help Needed for Christmas Eve Services!

We will have three services on Christmas Eve-- 5:00pm, 7:00pm and 9:00pm. During the Christmas season we expect many more visitors to our church, so we would like to have our congregation help streamline each service. If you are interested in being part of the Welcome Team for Christmas Eve, please use the link below. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. Thank you in advance!

ANGEL TREE FINAL UPDATE

Benefitting the Guardianship Program of Lutheran Services Florida

This is the final week of the Angel Tree drive for 2024. It was an amazing success with all the angels finding caring individuals who provided gifts for people served by Lutheran Services Florida. The Angel Tree looked very festive with all the gifts surrounding it. All gifts will be delivered this Friday to LSF.

The Community Service Ministry & School House Link of Sarasota would like to extend a huge thank you to SAKLC & the Foundation for providing 50 homeless youths with a gift bag filled with a sweet treat and a gift card. For many of these kids it will be their only gift that they will receive for Christmas.

FEMA Assistance for Individuals

If you have not yet registered for FEMA assistance from Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton, the deadline is January 7. Please check out this information.

SAKLC Training to Go Tutorials

are Available Online

St. Armands Key Lutheran Church Technology Training

Training to Go is a series of short, self-paced tutorials with clear, step-by-step directions and illustrations designed with our technology beginners in mind. These tutorials focus on the skills and strategies needed to access church information and participate in online worship services, events, and activities.

The Training to Go tutorials are now available online through our new SAKLC training hub. The hub aims to provide training and resources using various technologies supporting SAKLC. Four tutorials are currently available. Three of them address accessing both live and past worship services.

You can access the SAKLC training hub directly at https://www.slslearningoptions.com/saklctechtraining/ or click the button below.

The training hub will be available on the SAKLC website shortly. Other training opportunities will follow based on newly introduced technologies and the congregants' needs. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact Ladd Skelly at techtraining@saklc.com.
