Mid-Bay Bridge Rehabilitation Project Starts

Last month, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) began rehabilitation work on the Mid-Bay Bridge. Drivers may encounter temporary lane closures Sunday through Thursday between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m. No lane closures or other construction-related traffic impacts will occur during holidays and special events. The project is estimated for completion in spring 2025.

All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Drivers are reminded to use caution, especially at night, when traveling through a work zone and to watch for construction workers and equipment entering and exiting the roadway.
