Feel the Glow of the Holiday Spirit in Manhattan this December!

The holidays are in full swing in Manhattan, Kansas. Our grand tree is lit for all to see in Blue Earth Plaza. Walk through the illuminating display any day or night from now until January 1.Tune in to 88.1 FM to watch the lights dance to music. Our holiday festivities continue throughout town. Check out our list of festive events happening throughout the whole month of December. From music festivals to horse carriage rides, all lead up to our New Year's Eve celebrations. On December 31, join the Flint Hills Discovery Center for their Family New Year's Pajama Party! Participate in family-fun games and activities all leading up to their iconic balloon drop at 8:30 p.m. Or join other revelers in the 'Ville for the Little Apple New Year's Eve celebration. Events will be happening in the 'Ville all day long, including live music and entertaining acts. End the night with the apple drop from the top of Kite's Bar and Grill located in the heart of Aggieville. Ho! Ho! Ho! Manhappiness is full of holiday spirit, come experience it for yourself.

2024 KANSAS TOURISM CONFERENCE

The Visit Manhattan team had a fantastic time at the Kansas Tourism Conference, winning first place awards for Online/Digital Media in the large budget category for the "Be Somebody Somewhere" campaign and Print Marketing in the large budget category for our 'Manhappiness' print campaign. Congratulations also to convention sales manager Jenn Alley for earning her Kansas Destination Specialist Certification, and to our former director Karen Hibbard for receiving the Governor's Tourism Award!
