Happy Easter Monday, Everyone!

We hope you had a wonderful Easter surrounded by loved ones, good food, and heaps of laughter!

March was bustling with excitement as we dived into various activities and connected with our amazing community members. From our cozy Story Time sessions, through celebrating St. Patrick’s Day to coming together to create Easter decorations, every moment was filled with joy and connection.

New Month

As we embrace April, let's focus on fostering connections & unity within our community!

Did you know April marks both Stress Awareness Month and National Humor Month?

It's a gentle reminder to laugh a little and lighten our hearts to keep stress at bay!

In our daily lives, simple practices like deep breathing, taking short walks, or enjoying a good book can help alleviate stress. Let's also remember to share jokes, engage in light-hearted conversations, and support each other through challenging times.

And, of course, visit our activities in April :)

Come join us for fun evenings playing board games! We welcome everyone to join in, have a fun competing, and enjoy each other's company. It's a chance to make new friends, take a break from constant responsibilities, and just relax!

Community English Library in Levis

Did you know that you can borrow books from the SSEN mini Community Library in Levis?

We have a wide variety of books in English, including fiction, non-fiction, elementary-age level books, and Children's books that you can take home with you! We have new teens level books as well as children’s books recently added to our selections.

To borrow books from our library, please make sure you book an appointment before stopping by. You can either email Olena at olena@mcdc.info or give us a call at 581 500 3754 to schedule a visit.

Solar Eclipse - April 8, 2024

On April 8th, a solar eclipse will grace our skies. Remember to view the sun ONLY with special solar eclipse glasses to protect your eyes.

Avoid using regular sunglasses, as they won't provide sufficient protection and could harm your vision! Keep children and pets away from direct sunlight during the eclipse for their safety. Stay safe & smart and enjoy this unique solar event!

April 30th - Deadline for tax filing

Just a friendly reminder: April 30th is the deadline for submitting your tax declarations.

Make sure to gather all necessary documents and file your taxes on time to avoid any penalties or late fees.

Introducing the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)

Attention, Canadian residents! Have you heard about the new Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)?

This initiative aims to make dental care more accessible and affordable for everyone.

Under the CDCP, eligible individuals can receive dental services from participating oral health providers, including dentists, denturists, dental hygienists, and dental specialists. Conditions apply, so be sure to check the criteria.

To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:

Do not have access to dental insurance.
Have a net family income less than $90,000.
Be a Canadian resident for tax purposes.
