Looking Ahead To 2024

"And when a woman has power she doesn’t have to depend on the husband – the partner – the father – the brother. She has her own destiny and it’s up to her."

Striving for Excellence

With gratitude,

What an incredible year we had! As we reflect on 2023, our hearts are filled with gratitude, positive energy, and excitement about what is coming in the new year. Through our support, education, and well-being programs, we were able to impact the lives of nearly 400 women thanks to all who have contributed either by volunteering, sharing CWNY services with others, attending our events, or by making donations.

We have also welcomed our amazing new executive director Racquel Chariah who, in just a few months, has accomplished more than we could ever imagined was possible. Thanks to Racquel's hard work and passion for CWNY's mission, our team of volunteers, our program participants, and the support by the community have multiplied and continue to multiply every day.

In 2024, we will focus on supporting women as they enter and re-enter the workforce through comprehensive programs that will include workforce training in jobs in high demand, support groups that help overcome barriers that vulnerable women face, and well-being services that every woman can benefit from. We hope you join us in whichever capacity is meaningful to you!

Happy holidays and a wonderful new year!

Cecilia

President, CWNY

Dear CWNY Members, Friends and Supporters,

As we look forward to all the new and exciting plans for 2024, we make sure to acknowledge the past with a joyful heart because it reminds us of a journey filled with hard work, perseverance and triumphs.

My pledge as the new Executive Director at CWNY is to ensure we work tirelessly to expand our programs with meaningful intentions to meet the needs of the women we serve, to affect change that will create a ripple effect as we help women thrive in their communities, and to continue to inspire hope in every heart and life that is impacted by our mission.

So, as we take the next steps in 2024, we are counting on your support and commitment to embark on a new year with new possibilities. The easiest way to help in 2024 is simply to share CWNY. The more people hear about CWNY, the more they will want to become a part of the great things that happen here.

As we move forward into a bright future, we look forward to sharing the growth and impact with you along the way.

Happy New Year!

Sincerely,

Racquel Chariah
