Return to the Lord TOGETHER! 

“Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.” 13 Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Our Ash Wednesday service tonight is one of the most solemn services of the church year. Worshipers will have the opportunity to receive ashes on their foreheads in the sign of the cross. This cross of ash represents humiliation and repentance, but also forgiveness, cleansing, and renewal. In other words, “Lord help us! We are sinners! Be gracious to us!” 

The palm leaf ashes also remind us of what Christ has done and how we need Him and Him alone. We remember His sacrifice, His mercy, and His endless love. We all need that reminder! Jesus’ love is greater than our disobedience, so let us confess our sins, and turn to Him.  

See you tonight as we return to the Lord together.

• All to remember the great love of our Lord and Savior this Valentine's Day. May we share His love with those around us. "We love because He first loved us." - 1 John 4:19

• Angie and Mike Stevens nephew, whose Army unit was just deployed. Pray for safety and protection.

• Praises from Rita Rodriguez, for our wonderful church family who has been praying for her for many trials recently. She thanks everyone for the love and support and praises God for his goodness, love, and grace in her life.

• Soffia, a friend of Kennedy, who was recently diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing testing to make a plan for her care and treatment.

• Brady Kraft, who is recovering from a concussion that occurred in basketball. Pray for relief from symptoms, patience during this slow process, and complete healing.

• Nancy Kraft, who had double-knee replacement. Continued prayers for strength, rest, and healing as she recovers in rehab. She is progressing well!

• Laurie Slaughter, who had spine surgery. Pray for an easy recovery and complete healing.

• George Kerr's sister, Pat, who is in the hospital fighting a serious infection around her spinal column. Progress has been made and she is out of ICU and doing better. Please continue to pray for healing.

• Elisa Marchetti, daughter of Kathy Rohlwing and daughter-in-law of Ken and Jackie, who is recovering from surgery after a breast cancer diagnosis. She is doing well. She has clean margins and the cancer did not spread to her lymphnodes! Praise God!

• Growing Grace Fellowship New Building Campaign. We give praise for the progress we are making toward our goal! God is providing through all of you! Please continue to pray about how your family can contribute to building our new church home to further HIS kingdom!

• Carol Proffitt, who has been sick and is still homebound, and for those who are caring for her. Pray for continued care and provision during this difficult time.

• Everyone in our congregation and their families who are dealing with the pains and trials of cancer and other illnesses including Todd Purse; Connie Kerr; Keith; Chris; Sharon Hlavinka; Rance Ketterling; Darlee, Amanda; Jerry Wiisanen; Rosemarie; April; Suzanne, Mary's sister-in-law; Bonnie Lamotta; Mark Von Soosten, Aaron, Ryan, John Kirchner, Oliver, Debra Ketterling and family, Rita Rodriguez, Julie (Larry Arguello's sister).
