National Bylaw Proposed Changes

The NAWIC National Board of Directors has voted to circulate a set of proposed bylaws changes which can be viewed here.

The annual NFSF Scholarship is coming up. Applications are due February 28th, 2025. Know someone who can benefit? Send us an email so we can connect with them. Or, direct them to the NFSF website.

CONGRATULATIONS

Joan Bremer is our star recruiter!

She was acknowledged for her recruitment efforts at the PNW Fall Conference with eight recruits this year!

Joan is working towards earning her NAWIC Recruiter Red Jacket so if you know of anyone new who is going to sign up, ask them to put Joan on their application as the referral source.

November Membership Meeting - Project Retrospectives

We had a great November Membership meeting at the Wall and Ceiling Alliance in Pleasanton. Steve Long of Dome Construction took us through why project retrospectives are important, who you should invite and how to conduct a session. It was a great evening full of helpful content!

Coming Summer 2025 for girls in grades 8-12!

We’re breaking stereotypes at this girls-only day camp. Through hands-on projects, teen girls will handle power tools and learn the essential elements of various construction trades. They’ll develop a “can-do” attitude and greater self-confidence as they tackle challenging projects.
