Dear ACMS Colleagues:
We are just weeks away from the ACMS Honors event at the Heinz History Center, scheduled for April 18 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Many of you have already registered and/or donated to the ACMS Foundation, and I would like to express my gratitude for your support. We anticipate the growth of this event each year, and to achieve that, we rely on the support of our ACMS membership. Your participation in ACMS programming is crucial, and your contributions to the ACMS Foundation are greatly appreciated.

The registration deadline for the event is rapidly approaching (April 8). I invite you to join me and the other members of the ACMS Board of Directors at this event. If you are unable to attend, please consider making a donation to the ACMS Foundation to support our community and the patients we serve.
ACMS Honors is also an exciting time for our County to acknowledge the young career physicians in our region. While I cannot share the names of the PAMED Top Physicians Under 40 from Allegheny County who will be honored at the event quite yet, I can share that this year, we have 15 Allegheny County physicians who made the list! What a tremendous honor for our County. Rep. Arvind Venkat, MD, and PAMED President Kristen Sandel, MD, will be present at ACMS Honors to acknowledge the awardees. We will release the honorees information to the membership as soon as possible.
Please join me in celebrating these early career physicians, as well as the accomplishments of the ACMS Foundation, on April 18!
Sincerely,
Raymond E. Pontzer, MD
