Upcoming Board of Trustees Meetings
|
|
|
Dear FJUHSD Staff, Students, and Community,
Welcome back from spring break!
This April, we are excited to introduce "FJUHSD is the Place to be Engaged" as our theme for the month. In line with this theme, we have launched a new "Engaged" video showcasing the vibrant life and opportunities at our schools. Additionally, we've released new HR recruitment videos available in our newsletter. These resources highlight the dynamic and inclusive community we are proud to foster at FJUHSD. Please feel free to share these videos throughout the community, and especially to those that may be interested in working for FJUHSD.
We also want to remind parents and students that this month is CAASPP testing. Please take a moment to review the important reminders and test-taking tips provided to help our students excel. These strategies are designed to ensure everyone is well-prepared and can approach testing with confidence.
Lastly, we extend our deepest gratitude to our Board of Trustees, community members, and all our staff for their relentless dedication and hard work. Your commitment is the backbone of our success and the reason why FJUHSD is a thriving educational community. Together, we continue to make FJUHSD a place where everyone is engaged, supported, and successful!
Good luck to everyone in the final quarter!
Warm regards,
Steve McLaughlin, Ed.D.

Positive mental wellness includes positive relationships. To support student wellness, our mental health specialists teamed up with Phoenix House, a valued mental wellness community partner. Students at each site were encouraged to participate in activities that help to identify healthy relationships and avoid unhealthy relationships. Students were empowered with tools and resources to strengthen positive relationships. A stress ball and mental health-related stickers were distributed to students as coping tools for stress and other difficult dynamics. We are thankful for our partnership with agencies like Phoenix House to provide valuable resources to our school communities. We look forward to more partnerships that promote wellness on our campuses.
