New Gate Safeguards in Effect

Over the summer, the Town Council adopted new gate safeguards to address the safety concerns associated with vehicular gates, automatic vehicular gates, and other large gates. The primary purpose of this ordinance is to mitigate the significant threats these gates pose. It achieves this by introducing additional requirements for the installation, operation, and inspection of gates within the town.

These new safeguards went into effect January 1, 2024.
