Lent Together

Ash Wednesday Services

February 14th @ 12pm & 6:30pm

On February 14th, Ash Wednesday, we will hold two worship services for those wanting to begin the season of Lent with imposition of ashes and a service of Holy Communion. The first service will begin at 12:00pm followed by another at 6:30pm.

New Schedule for Midweek Lent activities!

It is good and important to spend time in Christian community. When we gather together, we build nourishing relationships, and feed our faith and our bodies. Time spent together strengthens not only our lives with God, but the ministry we share in Christ's name.

This Lent, we encourage you to come spend Wednesday evening with your Church family. We've adjusted the times of our Lenten activities to allow for time in Small Groups, dinner, and worship, while being sensitive to work schedules and children's bedtimes. We hope that you will join us this Lent as we spend time growing closer to God and one another!

  • 5:30 - Small Groups (activities for children provided)
  • 6:15 - Dinner
  • 6:45 - Worship around the Dinner Table

Announcements

St. Mark's Prayer Team

Prayer matters, and that's why we're convening a team of folks at St. Mark's to regularly meet and lift up prayers for our community, the prayer list, and the concerns the team brings. We're looking at a range of options on times and formats (zoom/in-person). If you are interested in helping to lift up those prayers, please let the church office know so we can include you in the conversation!

Altar Flower Sponsorship Sign Up

Now that we have ironed out the Altar Flower details, you will find the 2024 Sponsorship List on the bulletin board. We are asking for $30 per sponsorship. This will allow the Flower Ministry team to purchase and arrange the flowers that they need. Please feel free to sign up if there is a special day that you would like to purchase the flowers.
