Fall For CTKF This Valentine's Day

With Valentine's Day on February 14th and Random Acts of Kindness Day on February 17th, this is the perfect time to show some love for your Community! With the help of our volunteers and donations from our supporters, Clothes To Kids of Fairfield County (CTKF) is able to operate a boutique clothing store for children financially eligible and/or in crisis, to shop, twice a year, free of charge. If it weren't for your generosity, CTKF would not be able to touch the lives of so many children and families in need. CTKF is a volunteer-run organization, so every dollar you donate goes to benefit the children we serve.

Please spread kindness and your support this month, and share this message with friends, co-workers and family. The greater our reach, the greater our impact. Every bit of kindness counts. There is no gift sweeter than changing a child's life!

Volunteer Spotlight

Eight volunteers from Gartner of Stamford, volunteered at CTKF.  The volunteers helped sort through clothing donations to ensure that the clothing on CTKF's racks are in excellent condition as well as appropriate for the kids served by CTKF. The company held a "day of service" in honor of Martin Luther King Day, and chose CTKF as the charity they wanted to support. Thank you Gartner volunteers, CTKF welcomes and appreciates your hard work!

Ride For A Reason This May

On Sunday, May 5, 2024, Clothes To Kids of Fairfield County, for the 4th year, will join cyclists from around the world for the TD Five Boro Bike Tour fundraising ride. The ride is 40 miles, (though one does not need to complete the 40 miles), through all five boroughs of New York City. The ride is a terrific experience and riders raise money for kids in need. Changing Lives Starts

With You!

For the past 7 years, since opening its doors, February was a time when CTKF geared up for Fairfield County Giving Day, a digital giving marathon. Unfortunately, 2023 was the final scheduled Fairfield County Giving Day event. CTKF was able to raise approximately $11,000 through Giving Day in 2023. Please help CTKF raise money during the month of February as we try to meet the growing needs of a very different world and a very different time. Despite the fact that there is no "scheduled" donation day, CTKF is asking you to please make February the month when you will make a much needed donation. Use the button to make your donation or to peruse our website.

Thank You, St. Luke's!

For us at CTKF, there is nothing better than helping our kids pick out great clothes that they are excited to take home and wear to school! So many of these new or gently used items are collected by volunteers who host drives. St. Luke's School recently held a drive on behalf of CTKF. Thank you to all who donated,  CTKF is excited to fill our racks with these wonderful items for our shoppers!
