The School District of River Falls has been designated as a Best Community of Music Education (BCME) from the National Association of Music Merchants.



The BCME award recognizes outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students, and community leaders who have made music education part of a well-rounded education. This distinction is reserved for districts demonstrating an exceptional commitment and accessibility to music education.

Communications Awards

Recently the School District of River Falls won three Spectrum Awards from the Wisconsin School Public Relations Association (WSPRA) for outstanding school communications. 


School board member Mike Miller presented Lauren Kaminski and Jenny Ames with the Wildcat Pride Award at the December 18 school board meeting. 

RF4C students learn cooperation and teamwork as they make friends.

RFPME Upper Elementary students have a 🐟 A "fin-tastic" as they raise brown trout from DNR hatchery eggs.

Students learn, and teach the younger students, about the life cycle of trout and the water quality and habitat needs of this important local species.

 Fun with wool with Westside's 3rd Grade Club!

Girls Who Give Back showed their appreciation for office staff, bus drivers, lunchroom staff, custodians and support staff at Meyer Middle School.

RFHS Welding 2 class toured Donaldson’s in Baldwin, learning the ins and outs of a career in the manufacturing industry.

The RFHS Horticulture Science class is growing lettuce and basil as they learn about sustainable agriculture and growing food locally. They have a goal to supply the RFHS cafeteria with ALL of the lettuce used in their lunches!


RFHS Horticulture students can earn up to 3 college credits through CVTC. This opportunity is funded through a generous grant from Corteva for a "Fork Farm" hydroponics system.

In partnership with families and the community, the School District of River Falls is an innovative PK-12 grade educational leader committed to the academic, social, emotional, and physical well-being of every student.
