2024 TECNA DC Fly-In & CEO Mini Retreat

At our 2024 TECNA DC Fly-In, we heard from Congressman Kevin Kiley with a Legislative Outlook for the 119th Congress, and Kate Hudson, MA, shared on a Bayh-Dole "March-In Rights" panel. Some ArentFox Schiff experts shared their expertise on an AI Policy panel and a panel on Congressional Authority, Agency Regulation and Judicial Review in Tech Policy with Mike Dearington, Pallavi Guniganti and Kate Hudson. We then held a special fireside chat with the NIST Director Laurie Locascio, before setting out for congressional hill visits.


Then CEOs and Executive Directors gathered for the CEO Mini Retreat where they heard from Josh Breisblatt, Democratic Chief Counsel, Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity, Security and Enforcement, House Judiciary Committee; John Dearie, Founder & President, Center for American Entrepreneurship (CAE); and Bill Rys, Head of Federal Government Relations, The Hartford.


Plus - we presented our first ever Spirit of TECNA Award to TECNA Member Alex Curtis, Chief Development Officer with Greater Nashville Technology Council.

Interested in advocacy and government relations? Join our Policy Committees! 

Whether you want to raise your advocacy profile or are just interested in learning more about the US state(s) and national legislative landscapes or Canadian government affairs, join us on our Policy Committee calls. US Policy Committee meets on the third Monday of each month at 2:00pm ET.
