New Pacific Institute Pilot Project Finds Significant Water and Cost Savings from Innovative Toilet Leak Detection in Affordable Multifamily Housing

A Pacific Institute-led leak detection pilot project in eight affordable multifamily properties in Los Angeles reveals that 51% of toilet water use was lost to leaks. As water crises worsen across the United States, it is critical to invest in innovative opportunities to reduce water waste and improve water resilience.
