A Pacific Institute-led leak detection pilot project in eight affordable multifamily properties in Los Angeles reveals that 51% of toilet water use was lost to leaks. As water crises worsen across the United States, it is critical to invest in innovative opportunities to reduce water waste and improve water resilience.

The CEO Water Mandate (a partnership between the UN Global Compact and Pacific Institute), Alliance for Global Water Adaptation, and WaterValue are proud to launch the “Water Resilience Assessment Framework: Guidance for Water Utilities.” This framework, the second in the series, empowers utilities to embark on a journey of resilience-building, enabling them to not only survive but thrive in the face of climate stressors and other uncertainties.
