NOSORH seeks a skilled Applications Manager to oversee our software applications, focusing on our Association Management System (AMS), Learning Management System (LMS), along with other critical tools like Zoom and Adobe. This role involves managing all technical aspects of these applications to align with NOSORH’s mission to enhance rural health. This is a fully remote, exempt positionView the job description for more information on how to apply. Applications are due by May 8, 2024.

Rural Communities Opioids Response Program (RCORP)
The Senate Finance Committee held a Substance Use Disorder Care Roundtable in April. The panel discussion focused on improving the treatment of substance use disorder in federal health programs. Panelists shared their expertise and recommendations for improving the continuum of care and outlined challenges and solutions for treating youth substance use disorder. Senators discussed the potential for different models of care that could be applied to addiction treatment. The continued interest in substance use disorder care dovetails with some of the work NOSORH has been doing with Congress. In April, NOSORH held a follow-up call with the staff of the Senate Finance Committee on the authorization of the Rural Communities Opioids Response grant program (RCORP).
