Join us Friday 7:30-8:30am for networking and all the latest news and announcements from the local business community. Don't forget to bring $1 and your business card for a chance at door prizes! Everyone gets a chance to introduce themselves and share a brief update on their business or community happenings. The host ends the Connection with brief overview of their business followed by a drawing for door prizes.

Student Job Fair & Career Expo Recap

The Willmar High School gym was full with 1,350 students from every school across Kandiyohi County exploring job and career opportunities with over 40 employers on April 25th! Special thanks to our partners: Business Education Network, Willmar Public Schools, Kandiyohi County Economic Development, Ridgewater College, Central Minnesota Jobs and Training Services, Inc., and Southwest Initiative Foundation for making this event possible. Students were given a bingo card to encourage interaction with employers from wide a variety of industries. Those that completed their cards were entered to win gift cards. Thank you to Walt's for their generous donation of prizes!

Each week, CareerForce employer specialists will present 30-minute webinars about employer resources available to strengthen your hiring plans and reach new job seekers. Topics include searching resumes on Minnesotaworks.net, reaching often overlooked labor pools, and federal tax credits, among other topics.
