'MEAT' THE TEAM

Angela Whitaker

Outreach Program Manager

Angela has been at UW-River Falls for more than 20 years, partnering with subject matter experts to plan, develop, and deliver meaningful learning opportunities for a wide range of audiences.

Angela grew up in western Wisconsin in a closeknit family that includes a herd of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and more than 25 cousins living in a 30-mile radius. The many birthday and holiday gatherings led to her love of bringing people together and built a foundation for her career as an outreach program manager.

Angela earned her master’s degree in Agricultural Education from UWRF, with a focus on nonformal education in experiential and work-based settings. Angela enjoys opportunities to learn alongside the participants in the programs she supports but is most proud of helping people achieve their personal and professional goals. She likes collecting new information and experiences – whether it’s learning about humane animal handling or riding a scooter through the mountains.
