The rain, sleet or snow didn't stop our lovely members from cutting their ribbon and we are so glad it didn't! Talk about a joyous occasion and break in the weather to be able to bring this celebration full circle. Great job to all of those at American River Conservancy, and Wakamatsu farms for bringing this next infrastructure to the space for more events to continue!

Keeping Youth in Mind; This weekend!

The fundraising goal of the event is to raise $10,000 through sponsorships and ticket sales, which will benefit Powerhouse Ministries Women and Children's Center and the Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference Education Program.

Giving reduce, reuse, recycle a whole new spin when it comes to those dresses you maybe have hung on to for a while now. Look no further! Make a difference in a teens life today, and let new life breathe into those dresses. Prom season is here and your donations are needed.

Its Taco Time! - Shells for a Cause!

Active 20-30 Hangtown #43 along with the women of Active 20-30 Club, Goldrush #1034 will be having a limited taco run in support of the athletics department at Markham middle school Friday April 12.

They we will be limiting the amount of tacos to 1,200 so get them before their out or you'll have to wait for the fair!

New Program Promotes Education and Music at ARC!

Leveraging the expertise of ARC in watershed and natural resource protection, RIPE AREA is a clever word play on “riparian,” meaning the zones near water. This family friendly project extends ARC’s successful partnership with the local arts collaborative, Myrtle Tree Arts, to provide artistic expression and education for positive change in the community.

What are Habitat Talks?

In 2023, we became a certified wildlife habitat and launched an environmental stewardship program that serves to educate the community on best practices for treatment of habitat and wildlife. This program involves curating leaders in habitat preservation to come speak once a month at the villa. If you are interested in coming to these fascinating talks, learning more or wish to contribute to their efficacy, please reach out to The Villa Agave!
