About the Program

This webinar will cover:

Acquisition of intellectual property (copyrighted material) through the use of licensing or content creators;
Understanding the legal distinction between using contractors and employees for content creation, and misclassification;
The use of trademarks (for branding) as distinct from copyrighted material;
The use and protection of copyrighted material, registration and cloning;
Outbound licensing deals (merchandise and creation of derivative works such as movies/streaming shows);
The anatomy of a developer/publishing deal - key contractual provisions, ownership/licensing and common areas of dispute.
