Lake County 4-H - December 2023 Newsletter

“Time is free, but it’s priceless. You can’t own it, but you can use it. You can’t keep it, but you can spend it. Once you’ve lost it, you can never get it back.” -Harvey Mackay

We have arrived in the last month of 2023. As this year closes and 2024 opens reflect on time passed. Reflection brings your circle of learning connection to facts, feelings, findings, and future from your own outlook. Your reflection may guide you to your next choice for action. Writing is a critical element of reflection. Writing allows your reflective wisdom to settle in your brain. Brain science shows that ample time is required for neural connections to take hold, writing brings this brain neurochemical process forward. Write to yourself and remind yourself, you are priceless. ~Jean
